As one of the largest privately owned Stations in New Zealand, Mount Linton has stood at the forefront of the New Zealand agricultural industry for more than 100 years.

The key advantages of Mount Linton are its size and determination to be a leader in genetics. Comprising of two properties and 100,000 stock units, Mount Linton has the scale and livestock numbers to maximise selection pressure.

The breeding programs for both cattle and sheep are focused on selecting animals that can perform in this difficult climate and commercially run operation. The performance criteria used to select animals are based on common industry processes and values.

Welcome to the Mount Linton website. The aim of this site is not only to provide a general overview of the company but as a communication tool between Mount Linton and its genetic clients.

Our aim is to strengthen relationships with our clients through providing as much information as we can and welcome feedback and suggestions regarding our site.
